Miss Cheyenne Cooper was the first to mail her letter to Santa.
Jennifer Carnes | Miner

Three-year-old Cheyenne Cooper was the first youngster in the Tri-Community to mail her letter to Santa. She writes,

Dear Santa

I want a Lala Loopsy Potty baby and a feeding baby and a Dora baby and a lot of tosses and a toy kitchen.

Love

Cheyenne

Cheyenne also mentioned that her big brother Ethan wants a dinosaur that moves and video games “the big kind.” She plans to leave Santa a treat of cookies and hot strawberry milk on Christmas Eve.

Cheyenne and Ethan are the children of Jennifer Cooper of San Manuel.

Tri-Community children can mail their wishes to Santa in the special mailboxes that can be found throughout the area. In Mammoth, head over to La Casita Restaurant. In Oracle, the box is located at DeMarco’s. San Manuel has two locations: the San Manuel Library and Vantage West Credit Union.

Santa has also set up a special email address if you want to send your wishes to him electronically. The email address is santa@minersunbasin.com. And please when emailing include the town where you live so that your letter can be published in the right newspaper. Hurry and get your letters in quick so they can be forwarded to the North Pole in plenty of time for the big day. The deadline to mail letters in Santa’s special mailbox is Dec. 12. Santa needs time to get all the requests fulfilled.
