The Town of Superior once again collaborated with many community partners to host the annual community Fairview Cemetery Clean up. The late summer monsoon rains, helped the weeds to grow and spread in epic proportions. On Friday, Oct. 31, and Saturday, Nov. 1, Superior residents and family members of those deceased gathered to clean up around their family plots and also at graves that are no longer cared for. The event coincided this year with Dia de los Muertos celebrations which is a Hispanic event to remember those who have passed. The Town appreciates the work of the volunteers who help on these cleanups; with a limited staff these events do help make a difference.
