Orzell to run as write-in candidate for Justice of the Peace

Dave Orzell

Kearny Magistrate Dave Orzell has submitted the proper paperwork to be a write-in candidate for the Kearny-Superior Justice of the Peace. That paperwork has been approved by Pinal County election officials and he will be an official write-in candidate. He will face incumbent candidate Larry Bravo who won the Democratic primary election on Aug. 26.

Orzell’s name will not appear on the ballot, however voters wishing to elect him will be able to write in his name for the office. Voters will have to correctly spell Orzell’s full name on the ballot. Had a write-in candidate not submitted paperwork following the primary Bravo would not have faced an official opponent.

Voters will head to the polls on Tuesday, Nov. 4, 2014 to elect the Justice of the Peace.
