The Oracle Conservatory Mammoth/San Manuel Spring Band Concert was held on April 28, 2025, in the MSMUSD Auditorium. Family members, Oracle Piano Society members and the local community joined together to listen to the musical sounds. It was great to hear music coming from the auditorium stage once again.

Director Lorena Candelaria has been working with the children as they continued learning how to play their instruments and read music. The results were like music to our ears. On Flute were Lucinda Delzer and Athena Amparano. Baritone was Cassadee Brown. On Clarinet were Layla Madrid, Arizona Axe, Brooklyn Parham, Jorden Doucette, Ellie Madrid, and Ava Melton. On Bass Clarinet was Layla Madrid. On Trombone was Zaiden Bathrick. On Alto Saxophone was Logan Points. On Trumpet were Frederick Malott and Oscar Gomez. Juan Smith was unable to attend. Percussion members were Jesse Espinoza, Mason Bathrick, and Easton Watson. You all did awesome!

The talented group played familiar scores, flights and more, to the delight of the audience. There were wonderful solo performances as well. Many of the Band members also participated in local parades. The hard work by the director, the students and those behind-the-scenes were apparent. Lorena Candelaria praised the students for their efforts. Special appreciation was expressed for Dr. Cook along with the other Oracle Piano Society Board of Directors, and St. Helen’s Catholic Church.

This program was presented by the Oracle Piano Society and was made possible by a grant from the Ak-Chin Indian Community and from the generosity of individual donors like you.
