With the season winding down, there are only a couple of matches left for the 2025 Copper Area high school volleyball teams.
The four teams were busy this week.
Hayden Lady Lobos
The Lady Lobos volleyball team traveled to Duncan last week. It was a tough match for the girls, who unfortunately suffered a 0-3 loss, with set scores, 12-25, 22-25, and 19-25. The girls will host the last game of the regular season on Oct. 27 against Dischii’bikoh.

Ray Lady ‘Cats
The Lady ‘Cats started last week off with an away match at Fort Thomas. The girls suffered a tough loss of 0-3. Closing out their week, and their regular season, the girls hosted Valley Lutheran. The Lady ‘Cats were able to claim one final victory of the season, with a 3-0 final, and set scores, 25-20, 25-16, and 25-21. The Lady ‘Cats closed out their 2025 season in 5th place for the 1A East Division, the 25th spot for the 1A Volleyball, and a 9-16 record.
San Manuel Lady Miners
The Lady Miners hosted Superior last week, keeping it light on the court. The girls put up a tough fight, but suffered a 1-3 loss against the Lady Panthers. The girls will host The Gregory school on Oct. 28 for their last match of the season.

Superior Lady Panthers
The Lady Panthers closed out their 2025 volleyball season last week. The girls started the week off with an away match at San Manuel, where they claimed a 3-1 victory. The last match of their season was at home against Duncan, where the girls suffered a tough 0-3 loss. Finishing their season with a 10-5 record, the 4th place position in the 1A East Division, and 20th for 1A Volleyball.
