It was a busy day for volunteers from the Superior Chamber of Commerce and Rebuild Superior Inc. Saturday as they set out to paint the exteriors of two homes that have been vacant for many years.

Prior to painting, the Town of Superior had the lots cleared of overgrowth and debris,  then Lane Read, owner/operator of Desert Glass Window Cleaning, pressure washed the houses and volunteered to spray paint the outside.

Last, but not least, the 11 “painting” volunteers put the finishing touches on the homes at 309 Magma and 460 Newmont.

Everyone went home exhausted but satisfied that we all made just a little bit of difference toward the beautification of Superior.
