Last Friday, Aug. 27, the Hayden Lobos traveled to Mogollon to face off against the Mustangs. After putting up a fight, the Lobos came home with a hard loss. The final score was 0-54.
“Tough loss!” coach John Estrada said. “They beat us in all aspects of the game. This game will either make or break us. We need to let this go, learn from our mistakes, and move on.”
Hayden is set to host Williams on Friday, Sept. 3, with a kickoff time of 7 p.m. Both teams carry a 1-1 record.
“We’ll have another tough game this Friday playing the number two team in the state,” coach Estrada told the Copper Basin News. “Hard work will get us there.”
