Josefina Gallego Hernandez passed on Feb. 6, 2021, in Tucson, of congestive heart failure.
Josefina is survived by her husband, Ruben Hernandez; children, Raquel (Rafael) Torres, Ruben (Lidka) Hernandez Jr., Jose Manuel (Angelique) Hernandez, Gabriel Hernandez (Nina Ruiz), Christopher (Jazmin) Hernandez and Juan Diego Hernandez (Desiree Gallardo); 12 grandchildren; six brothers and four sisters.
After attending San Manuel High School, Josefina devoted her whole life to her family. She was known as the family photographer and after a while she picked up the hobby of raising chickens which she loved until her passing. She will be greatly missed by many, including family members and friends.
Services for Josefina were held at Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church in Mammoth on Friday, Feb. 12. She was laid to rest at Valley View Cemetery in Mammoth.
