John Lee Evans, 67, went home to our heavenly father on Dec. 25, 2017, peacefully with his family by his side in Redington. He was born on June 30, 1950, in Tucson, to Junius Durfee Evans and Tracy Marie Overstreet.
John was preceded in death by his parents, one brother, one sister, and his son Billee. He is survived by his wife of 42 years, Sharon; children, Tami Zacovic, Jennifer (Troy) Landauer, Mindi (John) Renna and Larry (Emily) Harris; 12 grandchildren and their spouses, Chance (Cianna) Renna, Sean (Kaileen) Renna, Brooke Renna, Keifer (Erica) Harris, Kole Harris who is currently serving his mission in Albania, Callie Harris, Krystal (Brandon) Vogt, Nathan Harris, Daniel and Dmitri Evans, Lindy Zacovic, Evan Zacovic; five great-grandchildren, Kie Boedee, Ela Marie, Ema Jean Renna, Delaney Renna and Ryder Vogt; brother, Orville Evans; and sisters, Rose Marie Burrell, Brenda (Danny) Adams and Brenna (Bill) Andrew. He also leaves behind many nephews and nieces.
A Celebration of Life was held on Saturday, Dec. 30 at 1 p.m. at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints San Manuel Ward. He is entombed at Binghampton Cemetery. John is loved and going to be missed by many.
