James “J.D.” Teller, 77, passed away on Aug. 26, 2018 in Wilder, Idaho of dementia and Parkinson’s.
James is preceded in death by his parents, Frank and Bonnie Teller. He is survived by his wife of 56 years, Linda Power Teller; son, Dennis M. (Jennifer) Teller; grandchildren, Rachael M Teller, James M. Teller and Danielle N. Teller.
James attended San Manuel High School and graduated in 1960. He was active in football and track. In 1962, he married his high-school sweetheart, Linda Powell to whom he remained married for over 56 years. He attended Arizona State College in Flagstaff, now known as Northern Arizona University. James was employed by Arizona Water Company for 38 years.
He enjoyed woodworking and built his cabin in ShowLow. He also enjoyed RVing throughout the country.
Family services took place on Saturday, Aug. 29 at 11:30 p.m. in Idaho. A family gathering took place in Wilder, to celebrate his life. Interment will take place in Oracle Cemetery, at a later date.
