Hayden-Winkelman Unified School District governing board voted unanimously to delay the reopening of in-person school until March 22nd.
“Currently, the COVID-19 cases are too high in the area and continuing online is safest for our students, families, and staff. With the vaccination and the lowering of COVID-19 cases in the area over the past weeks, I am hopeful that children can return to in-person school soon,” said Superintendent Jeff Gregorich
“We may need to start off with a hybrid model before bring everyone back together at once. We will continue to monitor the COVID-19 rates in the area and make a responsible decision based on science,” added Gregorich.
