Copper Corridor ladies are finishing up their Fall season on the volleyball court.

The Hayden volleyball team closed out their season last week with two home games. The girls began with a win over San Manuel beating them 3-0. Their last game of the season was against Duncan. The Lady Lobos took a tough loss of 0-3 with set scores 17-25, 14-25 and 12-25.

The Lady Lobos closed out their 2024 season with a record of 4-13. We’ll see you on the court next year!

The Superior volleyball team also closed out their season last week. The girls started their week off with a home game against San Manuel. The Lady Panthers were able to claim the win 3-0 with set scores 27-25, 25-14 and 25-9. The last game of the season was an away game against Duncan. The Lady Panthers put up a fight but were unable to come out on top, taking a tough 0-3 loss, with set scores 16-25, 18-25 and 21-25.

The girls closed out their season with a positive record of 9-7. Congratulations on a good season; we’ll see you on the court next year!

It was a tough week on the volleyball court for Ray. The Lady ‘Cats started their week with a home game against Fort Thomas. The girls suffered a tough 1-3 loss with set scores 23-25, 19-25, 26-24 and 16-25. They ended their week with an away game at Valley Lutheran. It was another 1-3 loss, with set scores 13-25, 25-22, 21-25 and 15-25.

Ray finishes out their season this week with a game against Patagonia Union. Information on this game was not available at press time.

The San Manuel volleyball team had a tough time on the court last week, starting with an away game against Hayden. The Lady Miners were unable to best the Lady Lobos, suffering a 0-3 loss. The girls ended their week with an away game at Superior. It was another tough 0-3 loss with set scores 25-27, 14-25 and 9-25.

The girls will play their last games next week, with an away game at The Gregory School, and an Oct. 30 home game against Valley Union. This home game is scheduled to start at 6 p.m. Come out and support the Lady Miners!
