Hayden High School graduates were rewarded for all their hard work with thousands of dollars in scholarships and awards during Hayden High School’s 2018 Scholarship Banquet held Tuesday, May 15.
Aliyana Perez received scholarships from Aaron David O. Lagunas, Asarco, Class of 2008, Gila County Search and Rescue, Junior Chambers, Lobo Booster Club and SaddleBrooke Community Outreach. Aliyana also received the University of Arizona Wildcat Excellence Award and the Provost Scholarship from Grand Canyon University.
Robert Bohrn received scholarships from Asarco Employee Funded, Asarco, CopperNet Educational, Gila County Posse Search and Rescue, Junior Chambers, Lobo Booster Club, Pinal Mountain SME, SaddleBrooke Community Outreach and Ultimate Welding and Fabrication Scholarship. Additionally, he received the University of Arizona Wildcat Excellence Award, Northern Arizona University Lumberjack Scholar Award and the Grand Canyon University’s President’s Scholarship.
Jaden Gonzales received scholarships from Adri Cruz Memorial, Asarco Employee Funded, Asarco Manager’s, Bony Cruz, Filiberto and Enedina Lobo for Life, HW Parent-Teacher Organization, Law Related Education, Lobo Booster Club, Lopez Family and Ultimate Welding and Fabrication Scholarship.
Mario Mariscal received scholarships from Asarco Employee, HW Parent-Teacher Organization and Lobo Booster Club. Mario also received the Antelope Scholarship from Grand Canyon University.
Brandi Lopez received scholarships from Filiberto and Enedina Lobo for Life, HW Parent-Teacher Organization, Kearny Elk’s Lodge, Lobo Booster Club, Lopez Family, School Resource Officer and Ultimate Welding and Fabrication.
Francisco Valencia received scholarships from Adri Cruz Memorial, Asarco, Cynthia Magallanez, Familia, Junior Chambers, Lobo Booster Club, Ray Federal Credit Union, Ultimate Welding & Fabrication Scholarship, Elks Vocational Scholarship and SaddleBrooke Community Outreach.
