The National Junior Honor Society at Hambly K-8.
On the evening of Thursday, May 8, Leonor Hambly Middle School held National Junior Honor Society inductions for the upcoming 2025-2026 school year.
The following students had the credentials to be inducted: Keikikalani “Keiki” Gaona, Elyzae Jaramillo, Yeleyna Chavez, Rodolfo “Fito” Quesada, Lainey Sosa, Mary Jane Garcia, Jaya Rivera, Zaiden Allen, Jaxon Hancock, Alydia Henley, Isaiah Martinez, Ariana Ochoa, Christopher Rivera, Nate Rivera, Jonah Sai, Marisela Sosa, and Sonia Stice.

NJHS is an active group who work diligently representing their school in a positive matter. Members for 2024-2025 include Michael Felix, Yarencia Gaona, Rogelio Contreras, Aria Manriquez, Mario Pacheco Jr., Brystol Strickland, Annabella Strickland, Octavius Baeza, Maribel Gallego, Maha Hong, Isabella Oropeza, Blake Weber, Ysenia DeLosReyes, and Marisela Quesada. Events include funding honor roll incentive trips for middle school students. This past year, students were treated to Vertuccio Farms, Elevate and Fat Cats.
