Frank Huerta, 78 of Kearny, passed away peacefully surrounded by loved ones on Nov. 7, 2025.
Frank was born on Jan. 29, 1947, in Ray, AZ to Pete and Juanita Huerta. Frank was married to Minnie Huerta on July 26, 1969. They made their home in Kearny to care for their three children.
Frank enjoyed his life caring for his family, especially his grandchildren and watching his Pittsburgh Steelers.
He is preceded in death by his beloved wife, Minnie Huerta; parents, Pete and Juanita Huerta; brother, Ernesto; and sisters, Pancha, Nancy and Yoni. He is survived by his three children, Frank, Annette and Melissa; grandchildren, Selina (Mark), Elena (Vince), Elicia, Pancho (Maddie), Danielle, Jacob, Makayla, Mia and Gabriella; great-grandchildren, Julio, Isabella, Tristan and Nathan; brothers, Chris, Richard and Edward; and sisters Ree, Tina, Patsy and Linda.
A Memorial Mass was celebrated in his honor at Infant Jesus of Prague Catholic Church in Kearny on Friday, Nov. 21, 2025. Father Ukeyima Adams officiated a beautiful Rosary and Mass. Interment followed at Mountain View Cemetery in Hayden.
