Frank Federico Rabago Sr.

  Frank Federico Rabago Sr., a 92-year native Arizonan, went home to the Lord on Nov. 21, 2019.  He was born in Superior, Arizona on Feb. 17, 1927 to Delores Haro Rabago and Leonor Federico Rabago.

  Frank Sr. was a Veteran of the U.S. Navy Seabees and the U.S. Army.  He also worked as an underground miner at Magma Copper Company in Superior for nearly 40 years.

  He was married to his beloved wife, Dora Ramirez Rabago, for 60 years and they lived on the corner of Pinal and Empalme in Superior.  They raised five children: Marcella (Carlos) Solis, Frank Jr. (Pam), Mark (Dee), Cecilia (Clyde) Elmer, David (Melissa), and nephew Louie (Evvy).  

  Frank is preceded in death by his parents, his wife Dora, daughter Cecilia “Gigi”, and grandchildren Thomas, Alicia and Jillian.

  Frank and Dora are survived by a very large family including 12 grandchildren, 15 great-grandchildren, and numerous relatives and friends.

  He had a great love of family, especially children and babies.  Frank also had a great love for the beautiful Arizona desert, hunting, baseball, cookouts and beer, especially out in the hills.  Frank was known affectionately by many as “Nino Frank”.  He was loved and will be dearly missed.

  Services will be held Wednesday, Nov. 27, 2019 at St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church in Superior. Visitation is at 9 a.m. Rosary is at 9:30 a.m. The Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Interment follows at Fairview Cemetery.
