The Arizona Department of Transportation will be paving on State Route 77 between American Ave. in the town of Oracle and Veterans Memorial Boulevard in San Manuel Aug. 23-26.
Work will take place Tuesday through Friday between 5 a.m. and 5 p.m.
One lane will be paved at a time in rotating directions as crews use large milling machines and rollers to grind out existing pavement and compact new pavement.
Motorists can expect delays, a reduced speed limit and uneven pavement. Pilot cars will be used to direct traffic.
Drivers should proceed through the work zone with caution, slow down and watch for construction personnel and equipment.
