A woman was arrested in San Manuel Wednesday morning after driving erratically and setting a brush fire.
According to Pinal County Sheriff’s Public Information Officer Sam Salzwedel, PCSO began receiving multiple calls about an erratic driver in San Manuel. The vehicle, he said, crashed and was disabled near Main Street and Park Place. A woman, later identified as Sara Buchanan, 37, got out of the vehicle and intentionally started a small brush fire.
She was arrested by deputies and was transported to the Pinal County Jail in Florence. She faces charges relating to the incident.
San Manuel Fire Department was dispatched to the scene where they quickly extinguished the fire.
