Emilio Luz

  Emilio Luz passed away Jan. 14, 2019 at the age of 58 following lengthy battle with cancer.

  Emilio was born Feb. 6, 1961 to Felix and Francis Luz in Safford, Arizona.

  He was a kind-hearted person and he loved helping other people, especially opening doors. He loved to Garden in his garden and had a great Green Thumb.

  Emilio is survived by his wife of 35 years, Claudia Luz; his daughter, Kristina Luz; and his grandson, Jayden Gill. He was also survived by his sisters, Janie (Ricky) Torrio and Gloria Luz Celaya; his brothers, Manuel (Clara), Larry, Johnny, Robert and Raymond; and many nephews and nieces. Emilio was preceded in death by his parents, Felix and Francis Luz; and brothers, Felix Jr., Johnny and Tony.

  Services for Emilio will be held at 851 Willhoyt St., Superior, on Friday, Jan. 25. The viewing is at 9 a.m. with the funeral to follow immediately. Interment will be at the Fairview Cemetery in Superior with a luncheon immediately afterward at 333 W. Palo Verde Dr., Superior.
