Donna Elaine Montoya

  Donna Elaine Montoya, 55, passed away on March 3, 2018.  She was born on Nov. 15, 1962. She resided in Superior AZ, where she was born and raised.

  Born the oldest of two children, Donna was a caring protective sister and a loving, devoted daughter. She loved her family and friends dearly and valued the time she spent with them. She enjoyed movies, museums and watching TV. Among her greatest interests and achievements was teaching. She served as an educator for over 30 years. Her strong will and determination saw her through four years at Northern Arizona University, where she graduated with an undergraduate degree in teaching. Her yearn for higher education lead her back to school in 2004. She studied at the University of Texas and earned her Master’s degree. Her strong educational value and love for teaching, made her an exceptional teacher. Donna loved her students and poured her heart into teaching.

  Donna was a patient and compassionate person. She was an amazing daughter, sister, aunt, niece, cousin and friend. Throughout her life she has been an example of absolute selflessness. She was a woman of God who showed love and kindness in all that she did. Donna will always be loved and cherished beyond expression. Her absence has left us with a void in out hearts that we will never be able to fill. Through her memory, may we find comfort and with God’s grace, may we find peace. Donna Elaine Montoya, we will carry you with us everyday for the rest of our lives.May you eternally rest in the love and peace of our Lord and Savior.
