Students from Hayden High School and Ray High School completed OSHA training last week.

The Arizona Department of Education industrial technology program supervisor and approved OSHA trainer, Jamie Miller provided an OSHA training at the Ray School District for students in the Cobre Valley Institute of Technology (CVIT) Welding Program. These students are developing the skills and completing the safety certifications that will prepare them for the high-tech industrial jobs and receiving college credits.

The Ray-Hayden welding instructor Sam Colton has created partnerships with industry leaders that provide grants and hands-on internships that will lead to excellent career opportunities in the area and around the world for his students. The Ray-Hayden Welding Program is part of the CVIT JTED.
