Superior’s Kadynce Toner sets up the ball (#3)

  Volleyball season is in full swing as all four schools saw action on the court.

Hayden Lady Lobos

  The Lady Lobos began their season last week. Their first match was at Miami against the Vandals. The girls were only able to win 1 of the four games that were played, making it 1-3.

  Later in the week they played against Superior at home. The three game scores were 17-25, 17-25, and 20-25. It was a tough 0-3 loss for the Lady Lobos.

  The girls ended their week traveling to take on Mogollon, it was another tough loss, with the Lady Lobos going 0-3 for the match.

  This week, the Lady Lobos took on Cicero Prep Academy on Tuesday, Sept. 16. Information on that game was unavailable at press time. They face Ray on Thursday, Sept. 18, with a 5 p.m. start time for varsity.

Ray Lady ‘Cats

  The Lady ‘Cats had a light week on the court. The girls hosted Patagonia Union. It was a tough loss for the girls, who were unable to win any of the games, and fell short in the 0-3 match.

  The Lady ‘Cats will be traveling to Hayden on Thursday, Sept. 18, for a 5 p.m. varsity match.

San Manuel Lady Miners

  The Lady Miners volleyball team started last week off by hosting ASDB. The girls were able to collect a match win, winning all three games with scores; 25-11, 25-14, and 25-17.

  The Lady Miners closed out their week with an away match at Fort Thomas, where the girls suffered a tough 0-3 loss. The girls will finish their week on Thursday, Sept. 18, traveling to Superior to take on the Lady Panthers with a start time of 5 p.m.

Superior Lady Panthers

  The Lady Panthers volleyball team had a rough start to last week, but it finished on a high note. The girls traveled to Fort Thomas, and suffered a 0-3 loss.

  Closing out their week, they traveled to Hayden to take on the Lady Lobos. The girls picked up three match wins, with scores; 25-17, 25-17, and 25-20. The girls end their week with a home game against San Manuel on Thursday, Sept. 18, with a 5 p.m. start time.
