The Copper Thimbles Quilt Guild would like to invite residents of the Copper Corridor to open meetings in Kearny and San Manuel to discover the joys of quilting and the comradery of fellow crafters. Our guild is open to anyone who would like to spend some time learning new skills and enjoying your neighbors’ company.

The Copper Thimbles Chapter is a member of the Arizona Quilt Guild. (arizonaquiltersguild.org)  Chapter dues of $12 and State dues of $30 annually includes access to many free classes from National, State and local instructors as well as discounts on many other classes and quilting shows and expos. Local members are welcome to participate in projects like charity quilts, mystery quilts and a chapter “Quilter’s Retreat.”

Meetings alternate on the first and third Wednesdays between the First Baptist Church in San Manuel and the Methodist Church in Kearny. Join us for an introductory meeting and lunch on Jan. 29 at 9 a.m. in Kearny and Feb. 5 at 9 a.m. in San Manuel.
