The Town of Kearny hosted its annual House Decorating Competition, sparking cheer in local residents and in turn leading them to beautifully decorated their homes in the Spirit of Christmas. Residents decorated their homes in beautiful lights, inflatables, and even animatronics in hopes to bring joy to others, and of course, a chance to win an award.
Residents voted for their favorite nominated homes:
- Best Use of Lights went to Brad and Tiffany Ortiz at 176 Hartford
- Best Lawn Display went to Vanessa Camacho and Amanda Munoz at 310 Hartford
- Most Holiday Spirit went to Lora Snow at 342 Greenwich
Camacho and Munoz also won the People’s Choice award!
There were many houses that were beautifully decorated. If you get the chance, load up the family, put on some Christmas tunes, and take a walk, ride or drive through town and admire all those Shiny Bright Lights!
