A new business has opened on US 60, Atlas Mining and Manufacturing Co. The store features a wide variety of equipment and tools for those working in the mining and construction industries as well as tools for everyday use. Owner, Eli Doose opened his Superior store just a few weeks ago.
He has been entrepreneur since 2001, his original store, Atlas Mining and Manufacturing is located in Colorado. The company also manufactures steel for the mining and construction industries. The store stocks a variety of brands of tools, supplies and other items that are needed by the mining and construction industry and has access to many other brands online. Just a few of the brands you can identify quickly in the store are: Bosch, Midwestern, 3M, and NLT. If they do not have what you need in stock they can usually have the order within twenty-four hours. Steel orders can also be shipped into town overnight. This type of store will also stock items that can be used by local municipalities and school districts such as spray-paint and cleaning supplies.
Eli explained that he steadily followed the progress of the Resolution Copper project for many years prior to purchasing a building on Highway 60 in Superior. While much of the stock in the store accommodates the mining industry, the average consumer who does carpentry work or other basic construction will find a variety of tools to help them complete the job at hand. In addition to tools and supplies, there is a wide variety of safety equipment from hard hats, safety vests, and work boots.
His advice to fellow and future entrepreneurs: “Be patient. Work hard, stay ahead of your competition.”
