The popular RFD TV television show Best of America by Horseback show recently filmed of an episode of their popular equestrian-themed television show camped at the Martinez Ranch in Superior. The location of the Martinez Ranch allowed them centralized access to many of the trails in the area.
During their three-day stay and filming, the film crew and participants rode several segments of the Legends of Superior Trails, including the Miners and Ranchers segment, where they utilized the new horse hitching post rails near the Bridge Street Bridge for a luncheon event at Porters.
Close to two dozen horseback riders from across Arizona and the United States traveled to Superior to participate in the show. The show featuring Superior is expected to air in early Summer. RFD TV is a cable news network that focuses on agricultural subjects and rural living programming.
