Aaron K. Goodridge
Aaron K. Goodridge was born Feb. 23, 1981, to Robert and Patti Goodridge in Mesa, Arizona.
Aaron grew up in Kearny and attended Ray Schools. When he was old enough, he moved to Phoenix and got his Commercial Driver’s License. He loved being a truck driver, hauling sand and gravel around the Valley. Later in life he even tried his hand at being a long-haul trucker. Aaron spent most of his life in Kearny, where he felt the most comfortable.
Aaron’s biggest joy in life was his best buddy, Zion. He loved taking Zion places, teaching him how to do things, and just spending time with him. Aaron enjoyed hiking in the hills and many times would bring home rocks with extraordinary shapes and colors, some with fossils. He liked to go hunting with his dad and brothers and usually brought home the biggest deer. Aaron’s love for rattlesnake hunting, which as a child, his big brother Robert taught him how to do, continued throughout his life. He enjoyed going four-wheeling out in the hills, whether on his dirt bike, his quad, or in his pick-up truck. Aaron also really enjoyed camping out, whether it was in the backyard on his trampoline with friends, in the backyard with his dogs, or at his campsite on the Gila River where he was found on Nov. 29, 2024.
Aaron was preceded in death by his younger brother, Kyle; maternal grandparents, Patricia and William Hudson; paternal grandparents, James Goodridge and Gordon and Katherine Wainwright; uncles, James Goodridge and Barry Whelchel; and aunt, Georgia Carroll. Aaron is survived by his parents, Robert and Patti Goodridge; two brothers, Robert (Leticia) and Gordon Goodridge; and numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, and cousins.
Memorial service for Aaron Goodridge will be held at Living Word Chapel, 402 Danbury Rd., Kearny, Arizona on Dec. 21, 2024, at 11 a.m.
