Courtney Lynn Whitten

  Courtney Lynn Whitten was born Sept. 5, 1990, in Tucson. She took her last breath July 3, 2025, at home in Florence with her family by her side. She fought a long battle with Acute Myeloid Leukemia.

  Courtney was special. If you ever met her, you could never forget her. She was beautiful, smart and very kind.

  She leaves behind her parents, Donald and Rebecca; four brothers, David (Alina), Kenny (Katie), Jason (Amanda) and Lakota; sisters, Amanda (Myranda) and Karalyn; many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends; but, most importantly, her son Lyric Royal – he was the love of her life!

  The venue for the Celebration of Life for Courtney Lynn Whitten has been changed. The Celebration of Life will be held on what would have been her 35th birthday, Sept. 5, at 5 p.m., at Cadillac Chaparral, 22861 S. Hwy. 79, near Oracle Junction.
