In response to local need for those affected by the Cody Fire, Pinal County has placed waste containers at two locations for residents who need to dispose of fire damaged material, brush and trimmings.

One container is placed at Cody Loop Road, just south of Mt. Lemmon Highway. The other container is located at the Mt. Lemmon Road curve just west of the Campo Bonito community.

Items not accepted include asbestos, batteries, oil, paint, anti-freeze, motor oil, gasoline, biohazards, herbicides, pesticides and commercial wastes.

Additionally, for residents affected by the Cody Fire, sandbags are now available at the Pinal County Public Works Maintenance Facility located at 1410 N. Justice Dr. in Oracle.
