Robert James Hough
Robert James Hough, 88, passed away due to natural causes on Dec. 2, 2024, at his home. He was born in Marbletown, NY to Alva and Ruth (Hendrickson) Hough.
Robert is preceded in death by his stepsons, Virgial and Eric Keith.
He is survived by his wife, Nancy Cardell; children, Lorrie and Duane; stepdaughter, Laurie; grandchildren, Chris, Robert, Shelbie and great-grandchildren Austin, Illiana and Hayden.
Robert graduated Tucson High School in 1955 and attended sheet metal classes. He joined the Navy in 1955 where he learned sheet metal fabrication. This led to employment for Tucson Sheet Metal Co. for many years. From there, he went on to work for Jerry Wichita Enterprises until he retired.
Robert loved hunting with friends, as well as sand buggying, in the Mammoth and Oracle area.
Family services were held at Roosevelt Lake, where Robert’s ashes were scattered at a memorial service Jan. 19.
His passing has left a void in our hearts. He will be remembered and missed by all that knew him.
