Rose Jacquez Jaime, age 95, passed away in Superior on Tuesday, Nov. 19, 2024, surrounded by her loving family. Rose was born in Jerome, Arizona on Nov. 29, 1928; and was preceded in death by her husband Eugene Bravo Jaime.
Rose previously held various positions while living in the town of Superior: Secretary for the Superior Senior Citizens Club, Girl Scout Brownie Leader, Catechism teacher for St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church, Board Member for CAHRA (Community Action Human Resources Agency). Rose unselfishly dedicated herself to serving the families of Superior.
Rose is survived by her daughters, Lily Jaime of Apache Junction, Susan Rose (Tom) Matthews of Globe, Anita Jaime of Tempe, and Sally J. (Ronald) Gonzales of Superior; sons, Eugene Jaime Jr. of Fort Mohave Valley, Ruben Jaime of Tucson, and Jake Jaime of Pasadena, California; 15 grandchildren, 18 great-grandchildren and 17 great-great-grandchildren. Rose will be profoundly missed.
Services for Mrs. Jaime will be held Wednesday, Nov. 27, at St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church in Superior. Viewing will be at 9 a.m. followed by the Rosary at 9:30 a.m. The Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated by Fr. Peter Nwachukwu at 10 a.m. Interment will follow at Fairview Cemetery in Superior.
