Pinal County Sheriff’s Office is seeking information on the person or persons who damaged the restrooms at the Oracle Park.

The damage was discovered by a Pinal County Parks Groundskeeper on Monday, Oct. 28.

The restrooms were only recently renovated as part of wider improvements to Oracle Park, with County officials and local residents cutting the ribbon to reopen the park at the beginning of August.

Light fixtures and sinks were forcibly removed from the ceiling and wall.

Anyone with information should contact the Pinal County Sheriff’s Office non-emergency line at 520-866-5111, quoting incident number 241028072.

“Pinal County spent taxpayer dollars making improvements to the park for the benefit of the community, so it makes me both sad and angry that someone would demonstrate such a lack of respect for both the park and the community with these actions. I urge anyone with any information to contact the Pinal County Sheriff’s Office,” said Pinal County Supervisor Jeffrey McClure.
