Three Copper Corridor volleyball teams faced off this week on two different courts.
The Lady Lobos started off last week with an away game to San Manuel. The girls walked away victoriously with a 2-1 score. The set scores were 25-15, 19-25 and 25-20.
Later in the week, the Lady Lobos and Lady Panthers went head-to-head. After four sets, the Lady Panthers walked away with the win: 26-24, 25-27, 25-21 and 25-10
The Lady Lobos will take on Valley Union and Cicero Prep this week.
Superior Lady Panthers
Superior’s week started with a game against Apache Junction. They lost the match with a final score of 0-3 with set scores: 5-25, 16-25, and 12-25. The Lady Panthers then took on Miami, claiming a 3-0 win with set scores: 25-19, 25-14, and 25-8.
The girls will take on Fort Thomas and Valley Union this week.
Ray Lady ‘Cats
It was a tough time on the volleyball court for the Lady ‘Cats last week. They started their week off with a game against Duncan. Unfortunately, the girls were unable to win any of the sets, and the match ended with a 0-3 score. The girls ended their week with a game against Cicero Prep. The match again ended 0-3 with set scores: 5-25, 16-25 and 2-25.
The girls will meet up with San Manuel this week.
San Manuel Lady Miners
It was a tough time on the court for the San Manuel volleyball team last week. After their tough loss to Hayden, the Lady Miners closed their week with a game against Valley Union. It was another tough loss with set scores of 12-25, 14-25 and 15-25.
The girls will take on Ray and Duncan this week.
