Join us in celebrating the vibrant life of William F. Loehr, affectionately known as Bill, who passed away at his home in Show Low, Arizona on Aug. 19, 2024. He leaves behind a legacy of love and loyalty to be treasured by his wife, Margaret Gaston Loehr, along with an extensive family network including children, grandchildren, siblings and extended family.
In his 45-year tenure with ASARCO, Bill dedicated himself to his work, starting in Omaha, Nebraska and Montana before working in Hayden, Arizona and settling in Kearny for the last 15 years. He was a proud member of various organizations, including the Church of The Good Shepherd Methodist Church, Kearny Elks Lodge, Copper Basin Chamber of Commerce, Show Low Elks Lodge, White Mountain United Methodist Church, American Legion in Show Low and the Arizona Rangers.
A spirited individual, Bill served in the US Navy Reserves, receiving an Honorable Discharge. His commitment to his country and community was unwavering, evidenced by his involvement in various groups across Arizona.

Bill is survived by his beloved wife, Margaret Gaston Loehr; mother, Jean Rima; children: Chris Loehr (Jan), Leigh Salgado (Valentin) and children, Max, Alex, Jaxon and Gigi, and Molly Barney (Patrick) and children, Maisie and Brody; siblings, Lori Rima (Bruce), Ron Loehr, Mark Loehr (Anne), Keri Hendry (Fred), Kevin Loehr (Wendy), Bruce Rima, Kevin Rima, Doug Rima and Patty Letellier; extended family, Michelle Peterson (Mark) and children, Walker and Wyatt, Adam Gaston and children, Ethan and Ayla, Seth Gaston (Jessica) and their children, Riley, Huntley, Jesse and Ellee.

Bill is preceded in death by siblings, Welsey Rima, Dennis Rima and Gordon Rima as well as his stepfather, Leroy A. Rima.
A Celebration of Life for Bill Loehr will be held 11 a.m. Saturday, Sept. 7, 2024, at the White Mountain United Methodist Church in Show Low, 261 N 5th St, Show Low. This gathering will honor his memory and the impact he had on everyone fortunate enough to know him. It will be a time to reminisce, share stories, and come together in remembrance of a beloved husband, father, grandfather and friend.
