Superior and the greater Copper Corridor area is home to many local artists and crafters. Local painting classes at local businesses inspired many local crafters and friends to find a place to gather to work on their crafts and projects in a group setting.
Tina Gutierrez and Terry “Moby” Guzman worked with the Town of Superior to find a space to gather with other local crafters and artisans. Many often find that working with others in a group is a nice way to add to the creativity of projects and also share skills and techniques.
Every Wednesday the group meets to work on their own their individual crafts; there are no set projects but everyone is invited to come and work on their projects at the Superior Town Hall, (Roosevelt School), 199 Lobb Ave. The class is located in the kitchen room located in the older section of the building. Everyone begins gathering around 9 a.m. and crafting ensues until 1 p.m.
Adult crafters are welcome; the group does ask that children not attend.
