On Jan. 15, 2022, a $5,500 donation was made to Saint Vincent de Paul by the Kearny Elks #2478.  As the Elks are a nonprofit fraternal organization, grants can be applied for and donated to non profit organizations as part of their program.

Saint Vincent de Paul was selected by lodge members to receive this donation as the Elks are very involved in the community and have given more than $50,000 in grants to the Copper Corridor over the years.

This organization was selected because St. Vincent de Paul has been active in the Kearny/Hayden area since 2007 serving three communities-assisting with food and utility bills.

The organization always needs monetary assistance in order to continue assistance to the communities they serve.
