After sitting out for the 2020-21 season, the Hayden Lobos are set to return to the football field on Friday, Aug. 20, with a freedom game (non-region) against Salome. This will be the home opener for the Lobos. Kickoff is at 7 p.m.

The Lobos will be traveling to Mogollon on Aug. 27 to take on the Mustangs. During their 2019 game, the Lobos walked away with a 38-20 victory over Mogollon. This game will be a good test for Hayden, since Mogollon is returning from a 9-0 record. The boys will have to be ready to shake the webs off and play some football after a dormant past season. The Lobos have 10 seniors and eight juniors. Overall they have 24 players on their team this year.

The Hayden vs. Mogollon game will also be live broadcasted online through NFHS Network. More information for that can be found at the NFHS Network website.
