Robert “Bob” Danskin, 76, of Kearny, passed away on Wednesday, Feb. 24, 2021. Bob was born to George and Evelyn Danskin on Aug. 30, 1944, in Mitchell, SD. Bob served in the US Army and served as both an Enlisted Soldier and an Officer. He married Sharon Gegax and they spent 25 years together.
Bob is preceded in death by his parents; sister, Sandi; and various aunts, uncles and cousins. He is survived by his wife, Sharon Danskin; twin brother, Chuck Danskin; sister-in-law, Marlys; and daughter, Tia M. Byrd. He also leaves behind four grandchildren, Cody Danskin, Marriah Sutton, Justine Corrigan, and Logan Corrigan and three great-grandchildren, Roslyn, Charlotte and Cypress.
Bob was laid to rest on Tuesday, March 2, 2021 at the National Memorial Cemetery of Arizona in Phoenix, Arizona. Family was assisted with exceptional service by Griffith Mortuary.
