Jose Asuncion Morales, 82 of Dudleyville, AZ, passed away on Wednesday, Dec. 2, 2020, at Oro Valley Emergency Center. Joe was born on Aug. 15, 1938, in Socorro, Texas, to Cruz Giron and Pedro Morales. He later moved to El Paso, Texas, where he went to Ysleta High School.
Joe began a highly esteemed career in the meat industry at an early age. Throughout his tenure, he held multiple positions and later retired at 63 as a meat purchaser for the southwestern states.
Joe was a brilliant man and admired by his family and friends. He inspired and uplifted through his caring and magnetic personality.
Joe is survived by his wife, Priscilla Morales, seven children, and six siblings. He will be missed dearly.
A private visitation will be held on Dec. 19, 2020, 2-4 p.m. at Griffith Mortuary, 101 Johnston Dr. Kearny, AZ 85137. Please keep in mind the social distancing rules: six feet distancing and a mask is required for all who attend. Per Governor Ducey’s mandate there will be a maximum allowance of 50 people allowed in the building at all times. If you are not feeling well, please stay home.
