Local tossers host benefit horseshoe tourney for Willis family

  Last Saturday, friends and family of Willy Willis hosted a benefit horseshoe tournament at the General Kearny Sheriff’s Posse Arena. Teams from the Copper Basin area as well as Superior competed for first, second and third place trophies.

  The winners of the tournament were Angell Cardenas, Andrew Lopez, Badrian Contreras, Jesse Lopez, Joseph Lopez and placing first is Jesus Castellanos all from Superior.

  Many items were raffled and, with the concession stand open, there was yummy food to eat and fun for all.
