Retired art teacher and Oracle artist, Karen Medley, has gathered some of Oracle’s finest artists to participate in a fundraiser for the Oracle Historical Society. The artists have creatively painted seven ceramic bunnies which will be put up for sale. The bunnies are approximately 13” tall and 6 ¼” wide at the base. A minimum donation of $100 per bunny or bunnies of your choice is requested.  Your donation is tax exempt and will go solely to OHS.

The seven local artists are:  Sharon Holnback, Joy FoxMcGrew, Christopher Lucic, Barbara Kemp Cowlin, Jenine Mayer, Sheila Miles and Karen Medley.

Karen Medley will have all the bunnies on display at the Acadia Ranch Museum on Sunday, Oct. 4, Sunday, Oct. 11, and Sunday, Oct. 18 from noon to 2 p.m. for in person viewing. Interested people can call her at 520-403-8269 if they prefer to schedule an appointment to view the bunnies. This benefit will help OHS to remain viable through these difficult times and allow the organization to open the Museum and other historical buildings to the public and provide events as soon as possible.

If you are interested in donating to own one of these unique bunnies, please email OHS at oraclehistoricalsociety @gmail.com or leave a message at 520-896-9609. Cash or check only! The bunnies cannot be shipped but OHS will make arrangements with you to pick up.
