CCEDC Executive Director Mila Besich, left, receives a donation from Gila County Supervisor Woody Cline.

Gila County Supervisor Woody Cline presented a check for $5,000 to the Copper Corridor Economic Development Coalition Executive Director Mila Besich.  The funds will be used to further promote business and economic development for the communities of Hayden and Winkelman along with the Copper Corridor region.

The CCEDC has five main pillars or service to the region.  Leadership Development, Business Development, Tourism Promotion, Housing Repairs and Managing a regional food hub.

“I was happy to contribute $5,000 to the Copper Corridor Economic Development Coalition for promotional and economic development efforts for the Copper Corridor communities of Hayden and Winkelman.  These communities have been hard hit by the COVID virus and with the ASARCO strike.  I look forward to continuing to work with the EDC on future projects in this area,” Cline said.   “We appreciate the support of Gila County and Supervisor Woody Cline,” said Executive Director Mila Besich.
