Louie Torrez, 64, born on May 28, 1965 in Ray to his parents, Guillermo and Juanita Torrez (deceased). Louise passed away on Aug. 12, 2019, after a brief illness.
Louie is survived by his girlfriend, Lise Ooten; son, Alejandro (Brianne) Torrez; daughter, Angela (Mark) Estrada; sisters, Carmen (Pete), Eudave, Enedina Caballero, Juanita (Albino) Castanon, Rosa (Merl) Barnum; 11 grandchildren; 7 great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
Angels awaiting him in Heaven include his parents, Guillermo and Juanita; wife, Rosa; son, Bubba; sisters, Mary Huerta and Helen Avalos; and brothers, Joe W. Rufino and William Torrez.
Louie’s final resting place will be at Superior Fairview Cemetery with his beloved wife, Rosa and son, Bubba. Services will be held on Aug. 31 at St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church in Superior with Father Samuel Jandeh officiating. Viewing will take place at 9:30 a.m. followed by Mass at 10 a.m.
