Ray seniors Amy Kenyon (five hits), Julie Meza (four hits), and Daniella Hinojos (four hits) led an impressive offensive attack in a 22 – 3 victory against No. 11 Ft. Thomas last Tuesday.
The Lady Bearcats scored in every inning, including a decisive 13-run fifth that ultimately ended the game.
In addition to their 13 combined hits, Kenyon, Meza and Hinojos drove in two, five and seven runs in, respectively. Hinojos hit two homeruns and doubled for three of her four hits. Meza slugged three doubles. Sophomore Chelsea Boyd-Flores also contributed with a pair of hits and three RBIs. Tara Lorona had three hits, including a double, and Danielle Barajas had two hits with an RBI.
Hinojos pickled up her eighth win of the season, allowing three runs on three hits with a walk and two strikeouts.
