Superior Police Department
According to state law, police may arrest suspected offenders by two methods. The suspect may be physically taken into the department and booked into jail, or the arresting officer may write a citation and release the suspect to appear in court later. All suspects are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law. Only criminal citations are listed. All damage amounts are estimates.

Maurice Washington, 39, Superior, was arrested in the 200 block of Sunset Dr. and was charged with assault/DV (domestic violence), criminal damage/DV and disorderly conduct/DV. He was transported and booked into the Pinal County Jail in Florence.
Oct. 26
Theft was reported in the 500 block of US Hwy. 60.
James W. Hart III, 40, Phoenix, was arrested in the area of US Hwy. 60 and Airport Rd. and was charged with driving on a suspended license. He was cited and released.
Oct. 27
A warrant arrest was made in the 300 block of Highlands Dr. No other information was available.
Oct. 28
Julie A. Otero, 41, Superior, was arrested in the area of Empalme St. and Santa Rita St. and was charged with driving on a suspended license. She was cited and released.
Oct. 29
Vehicle theft was reported in the area of Church Ave. and US Hwy. 60.
Russell W. French, 37, Superior, was arrested on four failure to appear (FTA) warrants issued out of Pinal County Sheriff’s Office. He was also arrested on a Pinal County pre adjudication warrant and a Gila County child support warrant. He was transported and booked into the Pinal County Jail.

Jessica R. Ochoa, 41, Superior, was arrested in the 600 block of Sonora St. on a Pinal County Sheriff’s Office FTA warrant. She was transported and booked into the Pinal County Jail.

Superior Police received a report of child abuse in the 300 block of Palo Verde Dr.

Violation of a court order was reported in the 200 block of Wight St.
Nov. 5
April M. Romero, 29, Superior, was arrested in the area of US Hwy. 60 and Panther Dr. and was charged with criminal speeding (20 mph over the speed limit). She was cited and released.

Theft was reported in the area of Church Ave. and Lime St.
Nov. 7
Criminal damage was reported in the 500 block of Hill St.
Nov. 8
Superior Police received a report of child abuse in the zero block of Pinal Ave.
Sharon E. Tarkington, 28, Mesa, was arrested in the 800 block of US Hwy. 60 and charged with driving on a suspended license. She was transported and booked into the Pinal County Jail.
Nov. 10
Evelyn V. Estrada, 48, Superior, was arrested in the 100 block of Stansberry Ave. on a Pinal County Sheriff’s Office FTA warrant. She was transported and booked into the Pinal County Jail.
Nov. 12
Theft was reported in the 300 block of Palo Verde Dr.
A warrant arrest was made in the 800 block of Brown St. No other information was available.
Nov. 13
John D. Carrasco, 39, Superior, was arrested in the area of Lime St. and Neary Ave. on two Pinal County Sheriff’s Office FTA warrants and one Department of Public Safety FTA warrant. He was transported and booked into the Pinal County Jail.

Ygnacio R. Silvas, 35, Superior, was arrested in the 200 block of Lobb Ave. on five Pinal County Sheriff’s Office FTA warrants, a parole violation warrant issued by the Arizona Department of Corrections and a Pinal County Sheriff’s Office pre adjudication rule warrant. He was transported and booked into the Pinal County Jail.

Theft was reported in the 100 block of Lobb Ave.
Nov. 17
Julianna M. Herrig, 18, Phoenix, was arrested in the area of US Hwy. 60 and was charged with unlawful flight. She was transported and booked into the Pinal County Jail.
Linda T. Armendariz, 23, Globe, was arrested in the area of US Hwy. 60 and was charged with driving on a suspended license. She was cited and released.
Nov. 18
Theft was reported in the 800 block of Western Ave.
Chauntelle M. Nelson, 48, Superior, was arrested in the 100 block of Richard Ave. and was charged with driving on a suspended license. She was cited and released.
Ronald K. Brower, 57, Coolidge, was arrested in the area of Stansberry Ave. and Porphyry St. and was charged with driving on a suspended license. He was cited and released.
Sassandra G. Moreno, 44, Superior, was arrested in the 1000 block of Stone Ave. and was charged with assault/DV and disorderly conduct/DV. She was transported and booked into the Pinal County Jail.
Miguel Barraza Barrera, 38, Mesa, was arrested in the 1000 block of Stone Ave. and was charged with assault/DV and disorderly conduct/DV. He was transported and booked into the Pinal County Jail.

Nelson J. Vender, 25, Superior, was arrested in the area of Lime St. and Magma Ave. and was charged with driving on a suspended license. He was cited and released.
