Albert L. Jimenez

  Albert L. Jimenez, 88, passed on Oct. 7, 2018  from illness.

  He is survived by his children, Angie, Magda, Albert, Steven and AnJeanette; seven grandchildren; two great-grandchildren and two siblings.

   Albert was an Army Veteran of the Korean War and spent 31 years as a miner for Magma Copper Mines. He was a church member of St. Francis of Assisi as well as a member of the VFW. He was involved with the Little League and the Boy Scouts of America, and was a Pop Warner Coach.

  Services for Mr. Jimenez will be held on Friday, Oct. 19, at Queen of Peace Catholic Church, 141 N. MacDonald Rd., Mesa. The Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:30 a.m. with interment at noon at Queen of Heaven Catholic Cemetery & Funeral Home, 1562 E. Baseline Road in Mesa.
