San Pedro Actor’s Troupe Playhouse on American Ave. in Oracle
The San Pedro Actor’s Troupe (SPATS) is looking for new members.
The Oracle theater group puts on quality and entertaining productions at their theater at 730 E. American Ave. For those interested in getting into theater, this is an opportunity to learn and become part of a talented professional group.
SPATS will be holding open auditions at the SPATS Theater for their latest production on Thursday, Aug. 16, and Friday, Aug. 17, at 7 p.m.
The SPATS audition will be for the play The Game’s Afoot or Holmes for the Holidays by Ken Ludwig. The play was written in 2012 and won the Edgar Award for best play from the Mystery Writers of America. The comedy thriller is set in Connecticut in December 1936. There are eight adult roles, four men and four women. The production performance dates are expected to be the first three weekends of November. It will be directed by Van Howell.
