Raul “Tony” Lopez, 67, passed away peacefully at his home  in Aravaipa on July 16, 2018. Tony was born in Ray on Aug. 20, 1950.

  He was a construction worker, as well as working for Kennecott Mining. Tony loved motorcycles and was an avid rider. He was a “brother” to many. Well known for his love of dogs, there was never a stray he would turn away.

  Tony is preceded in death by his son, Paul. He is survived by his loving wife of 50 years, Janet; three sons, Francisco Martinez of Aravaipa, Marcos Lopez and Levi Boy of Arizona;  daughter, Carolyn Bakues of California; his mother and stepfather, Carmen and Lalo Casillas of Dudleyville; grandsons, Pablo, Patrick and Fernando; granddaughter, Samantha; and three great-granddaughters.
