Phil Turoski, 66, passed away July 14, 2018, at his home in Mammoth surrounded by family following a long battle with cancer.

  Phil, born April 2, 1952, loved his family, friends and animals, especially his horses and his dog. He worked at Asarco until his health forced him to take a leave of absence. He was a foreman and formerly worked at BHP and Magma Copper Co. In his spare time, he enjoyed being a gunsmith.

  He is survived by his wife, Pamela Turoski; daughters, Cathleen Laguna and Jackie Hall; granddaughters, Shealeen Anderson and Anita Hancock; and grandsons, Phillip Tofoya and Jaiden Bess.

  Phil will be missed by his family and many friends.

  A Celebration of Life will be held at Romo’s (Mexican restaurant in San Manuel) on July 18, 2018. Phil’s family and friends are invited to attend.
