Jane Taylor, 89, passed away Feb. 10, 2018.
The longtime resident of Oracle is survived by her son, Clay Taylor, daughter-in-law, Becky Taylor, grandson, Dillon (Sarah) Taylor, and great-granddaughters, Adelyn and Chelsea Taylor.
Jane earned her undergrad degree from Austin College in Sherman, TX, and her master’s degree from the University of Arizona. She worked as a teacher and principal at First Avenue Elementary School in San Manuel and at Mammoth Elementary School.
She was involved in may organizations including Eastern Star, Ladies Shriners and Jesters as well as Oracle Firewise. She loved to walk around her Oracle neighborhood for exercise and loved being involved in music night at the First Baptist Church in Catalina.
A celebration of life will be held Friday, March 16, at 2 p.m. at the Oracle Union Church, 705 E. American Ave., Oracle. Interment will be at East Lawn Cemetery in Tucson.
